The SysAdmin School is a resource that I (Mike Walton) run to help anyone who would like to get into the IT field and become a Systems Administrator.  I also would like to help anyone looking to improve their career or just gain some more knowledge as a Systems Administrator.

So who am I?

From a young age, I have always known that I was really into technology and computers. It was really all I have ever wanted to do and I enjoy it every single day.

Being a Systems Administrator has given me so many opportunities that I want to help those who want to change their career and become a systems administrator.

The SysAdmin School is an online school where you can learn all the latest technology that is desirable in today’s IT marketplace. I also show you how to write that perfect resume and give you some tips and tricks on nailing that interview.

Like many things Information Technology or IT has many different disciplines that you can get into. Systems Administration puts you right there in the center of it all. Being a Systems Administrator has given me opportunities to also be a Network Administrator, a Database Administrator, a Software Developer, a Web Designer and so much more. Currently, I have found that I enjoy Voice Over IP and Communications the most and never would have discovered that if I wasn’t a Systems Administrator.
